i moved to california this week. i’m still learning the layout of oakland, still navigating the town vs. the city rivalry, and still waking up every morning amazed at the natural beauty that surrounds me. photos, in order: the “julio iglesias” rose at the oakland rose garden, where i spent my first morning on the west coast drinking mimosas and eating strawberries; the view from coit tower in sf; signage in piedmont; and shelby making daisy chains in golden gate park.
